Humayun Rashid, CIP, Managing Director & CEO, Energypac Power Generation PLC has been awarded the FBCCI Business Excellence Award 2023. The award was announced at a Gala event organized at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital on 13 March. He was awarded in the ‘Trade’ category in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the country’s economy. On the occasion of FBCCI’s 50th anniversary, this Excellence Award was declared in various categories as part of the Bangladesh Business Summit 2023. The summit was organized to expedite economic development toward realizing the goal of Smart Bangladesh by 2041. Business leaders, investors, and policymakers from the country and abroad participated in various sessions of the summit. FBCCI President Jashim Uddin conveyed the welcome speech at the beginning of the award-giving ceremony. Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, MP was present as the chief guest whereas Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi MP, and Prime Minister’s Private Industries and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman MP were present as special guests at the event.
